What contains gluten?

Some people with gut issues find it hard to digest gluten, so although they have not been diagnosed with Coeliac disease, they prefer to not eat it.

What grains have gluten? • Wheat • Bulgar wheat – part cooked wheat • Durum wheat – used in making pasta/bread • Einkorn – an ancient form of wheat • Emmer – wheat, also known as farro • Freekeh – a green young harvested wheat • Khorasan wheat (Kamut) • Spelt – an ancient form of wheat • Triticale – a cross between wheat and rye • Barley • Pearl barley • Rye - closely related to barley and wheat • Couscous - granules made from semolina • Semolina • Oats (only if there is cross contamination)
